As humans, the choices we make in our everyday lives has the potential to impact on the environment around us. That’s why we need to make well-informed, conscious choices when it comes to the foods we grow and eat, the resources we source and manage, the products we manufacture and use, and the way in which we dispose of our waste. Global warming is happening, like it or not, and much of the climate change we are experiencing can be directly attributed to manmade pollution of our natural environment, the unfiltered use of microplastics, toxins bioaccumulating in the global food chain, and resource depletion. We have reached a point in our evolution where we must start making greener, smarter choices; cut out single-use plastics, re-use rather than recycle, repair rather than replace, opt for greener reusable resources, and think about the long-term impacts of the products we buy and consume on our and the environment’s health.
